 Wickham Community Centre, Mill Lane, Wickham, Hants, PO17 5AL

All meetings will run from 7pm 
to 9.30pm. This is the venue at which we hold our popular indoor F/F meetings. The hall is not large enough for conventional shock flyers, but has proved suitable for smaller indoor R/C models.

Models to be flown at these meetings are to be limited to a maximum weight of 95 grammes (3.5 ounces) for fixed wing aircraft, in flight trim, including battery (not to exceed a 2-cell Li-Po pack). Helicopters are to be limited to a rotor diameter of 12” (305mm). All models will be weighed before flight, and will be judged on their suitability for the venue on the evening. Fixed wing models such as the Parkzone Ultra Micro series appear to be most suited to the hall.

Flying at these events will take place generally in accordance with our procedures developed at the regular indoor R/C events, details of which are available on our website.

Admission to the meetings will be £4 for fliers and £1 for spectators, whilst accompanied children will be admitted free. Junior fliers will be charged as adult spectators. Fliers will be required to show proof of insurance.

The Main Hall at Havant Leisure Centre is an eight badminton court size sportshall, and is particularly suitable for lightweight indoor R/C models. Please note that free-flight models may not be flown at these meetings.

Admission to each meeting will be £7 for fliers and £1 for spectators, whilst accompanied children will be admitted free. Junior fliers will be charged as adult spectators. Fliers will be required to show proof of insurance. 

These events are supported by the BMFA Southern Area.

Fliers will be required to show proof of insurance.

Models to be flown at these meetings are to be limited to a maximum weight of 95 grammes (3.5 ounces), in flight trim, including battery (not to exceed a 2-cell Li-Po pack). Helicopters are to be limited to a rotor diameter of 6” (152mm). Multicopters are to have a motor to motor diameter not exceeding 6” (152mm).

All models should be 25mW 5.8GHz or Wi-Fi FPV equipped. A frequency control system will be employed whereby each pilot will be allocated a video operating band, to guarantee frequency separation a maximum of 4 pilots will be permitted to transmit at any one time. Each model will need to be checked and a transmitter tag allocated before being cleared to fly.

Depending on the number of FPV models ready to fly there may be an opportunity to fly non-FPV equipped models.

Flying at these events will take place generally in accordance with our procedures developed at the regular indoor R/C events, details of which are available on our website.

The most well established Swapmeet in the area with a good trading record of consistent numbers of traders and attendees. Doors will be open to the public at 10am and traders are welcome from 8.45am onwards. Admission is £2pp at the door for adults with under 15s free entrance. Hot and cold refreshments will again be available throughout the course of the morning.

Directions - Leave the Motorway at J28 and take the B6019 signed Pinxton and South Normanton. After leaving the motorway take the first left signed Pinxton (Pinxton Lane leading to Alfreton Road). These events have been a great success in previous years and this is the first of this year’s opportunities to move on some of the models, engines and other modelling equipment that you have not used for ages and to pick up a bargain at the same time.

From 11am to 3pm and open to all with free entry, but with a £5 charge to sellers who are not BMFC members. Selling only from designated pitches for each vehicle. You will need to supply your own display table. Toilets on site and free access to food facilities and toilets at the gun club down the lane. Selling to start at 11am but access to set up from 10am.

This event as usual is open to all electric aircraft and is an off-the-peg relaxed day which in previous years has been very popular. Odd numbers only if using 35mhz. Chuck wagon and Toilet on site but no water facilities. Camping on the Saturday night is possible but only by pre-arrangement

Fixed wing models such as the Parkzone Ultra Micro series appear to be most suited to the hall.

Admission to the meetings will be £4 for fliers and £1 for spectators, whilst accompanied children will be admitted free. Junior fliers will be charged as adult spectators. Fliers will be required to show proof of insurance.

This is a very popular area for walkers and skiers so book B&B's and hotels early if coming. There is limited camping at Loch Insh. Entry is free and there will be a trophy for the best model. Food and drink will be available and a toilet will be provided. Gates will open at 9am for pilot registration, with pilots’ briefing at 9.45am. Flying is from 10am till 5pm.

Pilots must have at least a BMFA ‘A’ cert or equivalent and must provide evidence of insurance. The normal 82db noise limit is enforced. 16th September as a reserve date in case of bad weather at the Clubs large (130m x 50m) well-maintained grass flying strip.
