 Hiya people just a quick one on the yaw pot on the bell 47/medivac if its maxed it might also be that the link connecting the fly bar to the top rotor is set wrong by experimenting with the length it is poss to ajust the amount of yaw trim required. move with caution though doesn't need much.

 also if the yaw pot is maxed out,you might need to change the motors,they get weak and slow,these motors don't last for long at all,knackered motors play havoc with all trims

Not my experience Vinnie i've got the original bell 47 had it for nearly 2 years now flying ast least 6 times a week and it still pops off the floor straight into the most stable hover literally hands off however i do lubricate the motors every now and again with a very light oil designed for electric motors and generally keep it dust free

blimey, your'e lucky, im on my 3rd set of motors. mind you, it is flying nearly every day for 6 battery packs worth of flying

ok so i prob only do 3 batteries about 5 or 6 times a week also always let it cool well between flights but mostly put the longevity of the motors down to maintenance but 3 sets how long you had it all i've replaced is rotors countless times and canopy twice oh and secured the servos a little better the old tape failed wen warm well hot actually. that caused controll issues an a few  words

hiya phil, ive had mine since they first appeared on the scene, but im a bit of an animal with my flying toys sometimes. i do a lot of night flying, i put a set of lights on the skids, great fun. looking for something better now, going to look at heli's down at the wings and wheels show.

Me 2 mate thinking of a belt cp i've seen a nice scale fuse for them and the lights for my bell47 (see my album) are on their way from brentford rc centre they've custom made them. good set of lads down there

i was looking at the cp belt as well, seems a good price and parts are easily available. my medevac also flys of water , i made a pair of floats for them , a bit dodgy on landing, it has to be soft or it'll turn into a submarine .the light i have on the medevac did come from brentford rc, most of my spare parts comes from them , and yes they do try and look after you, im happy with them.

wot did you use for the floats often thought about fitting mine with them

i used blue foam and covered them with green solartex.the joining beams to the floats were large cocktail sticks.they were fixed to the helicopter with the thin metal tie wraps. they stay put... no problems as yet......when finished they were extremley light, if memory serves me right, they only weighed about 10 grams.

Thanks mate well not actually a medivac its the bell 47 civilian version before the medivac. i'll try these 1st. I'm assuming its a fairly high density foam. any way thanks again happy flying

You need to look close sellotape repair to canopy and paint missing but I do try thanks

for the age of the twister, it's still looking good. im looking forward to wing and wheels show, i need to upgrade....i can't wait new planes and new heli on the cards

I'm afraid my new wings are waiting till I've spent a £100 quid on a spektrum dxi6 2.4 ghz system movin into rotary's is making that a must as is electrifying my hanger
