Does anyone know where I can get a Dynaflite Talon in the UK?  I had one a few years ago and would like to build another.

A few shops could still carry old stock. Sure I saw one in Penn Models. - Maybe Blackburn...

Many thanks, Andy.  Unfortunately neither Penn Models nor Blackburn now have a Talon in stock.  I'll investigate the cost of importing from the US.

Hi Bill - Irvine are still listing this kit

maybe try contacting them?

Many thanks for the info.  Irvine do stock the Talon, but at a price; £49.99 I think.  Sussex Model Centre do have it for £29.99.

I think I jumped the gun a bit. I've ordered one from Tower Hobbies in the US.  The kit costs $29.99, postage is $32.49 making the whole deal $62.48 which works out at £31.93 plus a 7 - 14 day wait! I understand that I will not have to pay import duty or VAT on this kit because the cost of the kit (not counting the postage) is less than £18.00!

I'll see how it  goes.  I might just order another from Sussex Models and try it with electric power.

My Talon arrived today from Tower Hobbies. Now where's my building board and glue?

Are you going with the V tail or normal tail?  Built mine with the V. Hateed it, so I tore it of and rebuilt it with the normal tail. Flys much better for me this way.

I'll put a normal tail on the Talon, but without all the extra metalwork which come with the last kit (an all moving tail).
