Hi there.

I'm very new to model aircraft flying and have been enjoying my Hobbyzone Super Cub electric aeroplane for a short while now.  I'm lucky that I have a cricket pitch behind my house in which I can fly either evenings or early mornings without disturbing anyone.

I'm thinking about upgrading my kit to something larger & more challenging with the possibility of a petrol/nitro motor, which will make the cricket pitch a non starter!!!.  However, like many of us these days, time is my No1 enemy and between running a business, sorting three kids sporting activites out, and keeping the wife happy I cannot commit to a nominal club social / organised meeting at the field on a leisurely sat / sun morning.

My question is - do clubs have flexible flying times where, if the mood takes, you could go flying at 7pm on a tuesday night or are thing a bit rigid than that?

Thanks for your help

That depends entirely on the club, and the landlord they rent the field from! The best thing to do is contact your local club and ask them!

If you fill in your profile, people will be able to see where in the world you are, and advise you better, or contact the BMFA to find who and where your nearest club is.

To fill in your profile, at the top left of the page is a silhouette where you can put a pic, and five subheadings. Click the second one, and give us some details about yourself. Do NOT put a phone number in, but you can activate a private message service by ticking a box.

Welcome to David's 'mad-house!' (I'll get earache from David now!).

Blimey that was a quick response

Thanks for the help and I'm filling out the profile now.
