I am down in the Var, and am about to take up flying again after a gap of about 10 years. I have a ton of old Futaba RC kit (35mh), and have kept about 10 planes from trainers to gliders to scale.....all built from kits. I have never bought an RTF, nor flown electric, but think that is the (lazy!) way to get back flying. So that means starting from scratch.... There is a club at the Glider field in Fayence, so thought I would give that a try. I am thinking about going back to pretty basic to get re-started with an electric trainer....and 2.4, having heard about the problems on 35 over here.

.gif) Hi David, You have a good model shop close to Fayence, in Montauroux. Very helpful in there - not a huge place, of course. Centre Espace Modelisme, they are on the Plan Occidental (opposite Leclerc), RD562, MONTAUROUX, 83. Tel 04949993 But you probably knew that.

.gif) PS. There is another club not far from the lake there at Callian, see thier web site Link Only trouble there is I think they probably have to have to cut out flying during the high fire-risk periods of the summer. Worth a look though. But maybe the club at Fayance airdrome is better - I don't know it. i know the Glider Club resteraunt allright though
