Hi Nathan and welcome, so it's our fault is it!

Don't hesitate to ask if you need anything........are you hoping to join a local club? Have you decided what you'd like to start flying?

I would like to start flying Beginner Aircrafts, would you recommend where i could get a decent one from?

Also i will learn with that and when im 16 and got a job and earning some money i will then hopefully join a local club and be able to buy new Aircrafts

Would you prefer electric power or i.c. (two-stroke glow engine) Nathan?

 Do you have a preference?

Hi Nathan,

Boy, you are lucky, you have youth on your side..ie fast reactions etc. In my experience, young people learn so much faster than us oldies. But, you must be prepared to come up against problems, its not an easy hobby.  Thats where this forum comes in, you'll find bags of help and advice.Just ask

Hello Nathan, and welcome.

My advice would be to find your local club first. They will be able to point you in the right direction and teach you to fly which will save you money in the long run...it can become quite expensive replacing broken models every few weeks. Your club will also be able to sort you out with the all essential insurance.

Have a look through the various beginners' threads on this site as well.

All the best, and enjoy this fascinating hobby.

Simon.

Hi Nathan and welcome to “The Friendly Forum”

If you have not already done so, could I ask you to have a read of these few guidelines we have listed to help you with using the forum.

Here’s a few other links which may be helpful.

Perhaps this in particular may help

And this.

For a list of clubs in your area try this…. http://www.bmfa.org/clubs/index.html

Once again, welcome on board and have fun!  Timbo.

Finally…..please consider filling in a little about yourself on the profile page - that way you will be sure to get more response to your questions!

You don’t have to go overboard - take a look at a few others and you will get the idea.

Hi and welcome!

Ernie, what you said about reactions is wrong - you should see mine!

And I should say it is a very rewarding hobby, which you should enjoy greatly! It may be fustrating at times, but eventually when there is nothing left from the oringinal artf, there are no cons, except weather, and perswading someone to drive you to your feild!

 All the best, birdy.
