Put it all back together with your bits and pieces in the tray. You will find it nicely balanced with the battery on one side and rhe fuel on the other. There's plenty of room for your starter and long props in the bottom and the velcro straps "more butties" perhaps. Happy filling and starting Graham Lee

Hi Graham You seem to have filled the blog section on the forum. You needed to put the insallments in as "reply" rather than new thread, oh dear never mind I am sure admin will sort it out . Lee

.JPG) Not having read the other episodes I have a comment re safety. The fuel should not be in a sealed/un-drianed flight box. As our fuel is alcohol/nitromethane any leakage can create a dangerous fire hazard and the flame is not so easily seen until it is far too late. I have used a fire extinquisher on another pilots flightbox built on similar lines. Have safe fun

I did give some thought and came to the conclusion any leakage would have to come from the bottle top feed as the other 2 connections are external on the flight panel. As the area were the bottle sits is sealed and fuelproofed one could put a drain hole underneath in case of spillage, highly unlikely I would of thought though with the commercial top and sealed tank fitting for the tubing. But thank you for your comments

Hi Graham, having just read your installments (all of them) and just so having to have a battery, fuel bottle and fuel panel exactly the same lying round, I have decided to follow your build. Photos to follow.....Well done and thanks. Al

Hi Al, I hope your able to find the right Stanley Tool Box - The one you want does not have any compartments on the top lid, some do with clear plastic lids. It came with a little replica toolbox inside. Best of luck Regards Graham

Hi Graham, I cant believe it but I have left the battery and power panel in France. I noticed when I unpacked my car. What are the sizes of the battery (L,W &H) and the hole size for the power panel? I can make the box ready and just put them in when I get back to France in the new year. Thanks and er sorry for the hassle. Al Oh yeh and where did you buy the box from? B&Q?

Hi Al Yuasa battery used was 6" long x 2.5" wide x 3.75" deep, but advise you fit the battery dividing panel with battery in situ to avoid any movement sideways. Don't forget to cover battery for safety Panel size hole required is 5 3/8"x 3 1/16" for Ripmax red power panel. Curve the corners to give meat for the screws The box was purchased from local MAKRO store and I haven't seen one since, it came with a smaller version inside so best of luck. If I can be of any further help just ask. Best Wishes Graham

Cheers Graham, I will look into putting one together as soon as I find a suitable box. Al
