Just bought a Depron kit, been conned I think really as there is not one moulded piece in it, its all flat Depron and the wings have to be made out of 4 pieces, 2 pieces to get the thickness and then you have to work on the slab to get the aerofoil section, thing is that worries me is what do you use to shape the Depron, file, sandpaper etc but the big bit is what sort of mess is it going to make as the other half reasonably wont stand for a mess in the house and I cant work anywhere else, wouldnt have bought it if I had known, feel like sending it back but think the firm wouldnt go much on it as they have ignored 2 emails so far.

Any ideas, Dennis.

( Its a B-52 from Green Air Designs.)

Depron does not make quite so much mess as EPS - I tend to use sandpaper, with very fine grit to finish off as it tears and rucks quite easily.  Could you not just work outside whilst sanding ?

Yes the answer would be to do it outside but being disabled I have to sit to do anything as I cant stand more than a few minutes, trouble is that I wanted a quick build, there is as much work in this as a balsa model, just substitute Depron for Balsa, think its going to be another expensive one for the attic and go search for something that is more ARTF, not idle just old age!!!!.
