Hi Ton,

Congratulations with the succesfull test flight. Nice pictures, the Fiat looks great.

If I may ask what made your conclusion that the wing incidence needs to be increased?

Hi Ton,

that was the plan, but work requires all attention on the moment. Made only a little progress.

The receiver battery and speed controller have a place. I made a box for the Lipo battery. Painted the cockpit and added some more detail. I do not want to add more to increase more weight.

Thread: Citabria Pro (1/8 scale)

Hi Tim,

Nice subject. I have the Henry Haffke plans and cowl and reasonable photo series of the original. I wanted to build it, but I never found a 3-view.

Good you got a 3-view. I will be following your project.

Enjoy.

Best regards,

Edwin

Ton & Danny, I think you should ask the forum administrator to add the Apache song so that everytime this threat is opened you hear the song.........well ok, I know the answer....

Nice music anyway.

That model screams to be build.....looking forward to the progress.

Thread: MicroWarbirds P51 and FW190 - Ton's build blog and chat

Wow Ton,

They look very nice. Can they handle a bit of wind (like in Malta)?

A MicroWarbird Fokker D.XXI would be very nice too....idea

Well done.

Good evening Danny, I see what you mean.

If you want I can check with the aviation museum here in Malta, and maybe able to find info on the pitot tube shown on the Bentley drawing. It is worth to try.

Best regards,

Edwin

Hi Danny,

the Bentley drawings show two types of pitot tubes. The early type is a dual tube (parallel) and the later type is the single (shorter) type.

Of the early type, I have photos, but I need to scan them.

Edwin

Hi Danny,

Nice work, but sorry the pitot tube front end is not correctblush. The pitot tube is shorter and has a constant diameter with a rounded tip. The hole in the tip is roundabout half the diameter of the pitot tube.

Really like the work you put into the model. Very realistic.thumbs up

Merry Christmas.

Good evening Ton,

always find it a difficult job those wing seatings and fairings. Are the cockpit doors going be functional (hinged)? You have a lot of room in the fuselage for the equipment and you can fit a complete cockpit...

I am preparing for the scale meet at our club this saturday. Looks like we going to have a lot of participitation. I will post some pictures on the forum (I don't know where yet?).

Best regards,

Edwin

Hi Ton,

excuses for the late reply. Have been out for business last week, and had to prepare the 'surprise' (Sinterklaas) for tonight (face 7...yes we do celebrate this as 'real' Dutch in Malta...smile)

Tomorrow evening back to business, because it getting time to move on with the Corby.

I will prepare the instrument collections for you.

Best regards,

Edwin
