Hi. I started flying model planes earlier this year (9months ago) and I'm now thinking of getting a Hangar 9 p51 trainer as an introduction to petrol. Is there anyone who have had one of these before that could give me an idea of their experience with the plane?

Without knowing your level of experience it is hard to recommend something.

What are you flying now/have flown in the past? Also do you want a petrol engine or a glow engine as they are different

Hi Joe

Perhaps would be better to ask someone at your club what they think or if you are not in a club join one?

I can point you to a large thread on the P-51 model, (sorry not this forum).

Or link to it here if no one objects to other forum sites being shown.
