I have used the Servo Shop on numerous occasions and always great service yes

More recently I have used Toni Clark and Ashford Models for the first time and the service is also first rate yes

Items are delivered very promptly by all three.

Good to hear Rich. Some outlets are doing the right thing and I must add Leeds Model Shop, Kings Lynn Models and Sussex Model Centre - all excellent mail order service.

Thumbs up from me as well for all the above. No worrying about wharehouses in different countries and the unknown postage mysteries!

I have to give a thumbs down for Kings Lynn models as they absolutely refuse to ship items to Northern Ireland

even though it is part of the UK. Not good business in my view.

Must agree with Steve B. One would think that the reason they are in the retail hobby shop business is to earn a living. If you are outside the U. K. in most cases they do not want to know. However, Balsa Cabin deserves a pat on the back for their excellent service. Perhaps someone could compile a list of those who deal beyond the shores of Britain.

I can echo the positive feedback on Balsa Cabin, fantastic!, Martin in Leeds is very good as are Wheelspin, TJD Steve Webb and Pegasus. To be honest I've not encountered a "bad" shop. Maybe I'm lucky?

Servo Shop is of course the on-line persona of Steve Webb Models - my LMS! And I have to say they are as good in the flesh as they are virtually!

Maybe the tough commercial environment has had one positive effect in that it has weeded out some of the not so good suppliers? Leaving us with a stronger and better trade base.

But perhaps sadly at the cost of losing some of the good ones in the cross-fire as well?
