What if

Correct me if I am wrong but I seem to remember the Germans welded two Bf 110 together at the wing tips and added a fifth engine in the centre.

This was used to tow the Me Gigant troop carrying glider.

I thought that they used Heinkel 111 for that purpose, the Zwilling? They may have used the 110 but I've not seen any pictures of one, I could easily be wrong though.

They did use 3 Bf110 to tow a Gigant, but all 3 Bf110 were totally separate aircraft... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6D-NE8vX25I  This was rather dangerous and led to the Zwilling described earlier

Seems like the diminutive but talented Hanna Reich was less than Zwilling crook

Well.... that thing called work is getting in the way....but managed to push things along a little.

Got all the side frames for the fuz and the crutch glued. A lot more complex than that Italian jobby next door...!

Herman and Willhelmeena strolled in the office today, well when I say strolled I mean slid as they have no legs!

The fine detail is impressive so much better than some of the latex ones I have had in the past.

They are expanding foam with a shell for want of a better description, easily painted i don't think I need to use the airbrush to be honest if I did it would probably be for the faces only.

Weight wise Willhelmeena is 7.53g and Herman a more portly 9.22g which to be honest is not a great deal even with paint they are going to be light and I think there will have to be some trimming of the hips that will have to happen anyway.

The other things in Richard's red Cross parcel were the retracts which are nicely done and substantial weighing in at 86g each again not bad especially for the solid feel they have, they certainly look up to the job for sure.

The last thing is the Mr RC Sound noisy thing!

This has the twin Benz engine sounds loaded I believe as well as others and I have the extra 'speaker' for the twin sound!

This is all new to me as I have not really been that interested in these things but I think this is one of the better later systems and works well, looking forward to getting it all together and having a play.

Not had a chance to power them up yet but they look solid enough and I am sure they are up to the usual Richard quality.

Thanks Paul,

I don't get quite as exited over hoovers as I used to Matey, but that's age for Ya, I suppose. sad

Mine will be a "C" North Africa Scheme....Yummy...

I'm up for the pilots and retracts later on, still spending on the Moth, and that Sound system, in Nigels post looks mightily intriguing.

Are we all posting builds here or on separate blogs ??

For no other reason than to keep info all in one place I think here is a good idea, then everyone can scan through to the bits they need.
