Graham

The handle, near the green top, was cut to make the inlet and a small ply ring put in the front to stiffen it up.

Then super glued it on yes

Now that looks like an old BT plan of "Emil "might be wrong but that's how he draws his tyre's.

Richard, you big tease. Are you trying to tempt us? If so it may just work.

Them boys need a bit of discipline Mate......................the kind dished out my Miss Cynthia whiplash, last I heard she was thrown out of her local, the "Nut Grinder", for upsetting the regulars.

Right !!! Finally , Woody the dog's on board camera has caught them bang to rights . They have since admitted making two prototype kits . based on a previous trio we made three years ago .109 new1.jpg

I knew they were up to something . As I am easing myself out the backdoor , they have dragged out a design that we did a few years back but didnt kit . It is a halfway house between traditional kits and artfs . As you can see , the fuselage comes in three prebuilt parts . The 55" 109 has all the scoops and spinners etc for either an "e" version or F/G . All three previous models are electric powered which gives the option of some really big props (16x8 ) was the max we tried . Torque became a major factor by then .

I am going to send one of their prototypes to Dwain this week as the lads seem to like his left field humour .

If that same left field individual could start a new thread Warbirds Replicas Bf109 with a sign post at the end of the La7 /hurricane /macchii threads that would be handsome.

You probably dont know this , but sweep does most of the test flights ....

from the cockpit . He does leave the canopy off and settles for a little windscreen as he said that he likes the breeze in his ears .( At least ,I think that's that's what he said ) Hard to tell from a series of angry squeeks.

Sounds like a bit of fun to had there then !!!!!!!!

I am at the moment without a pc, apart from the one in the kids room. I have purchased a replacement laptop as mine just bit the dust.........................lost all my 110 pics and moth pics, apart from the ones on here, and my phone of course. luckily my little vids are on you tube.

Typing this up at work, on my dinner hour.

Looking forward to having a play with a 109. looks like a very quick build, should be in paint after a week.......laughlaughdevil.

Does this mean that we can form an orderly queue when the new 109 thread appears?

What happened to the laptop DD? It might be possible to recover the data even if the operating system or laptop hardware has snuffed it. As long as the hard drive isn't broken or badly corrupted it should be possible to save the photos and any other important files you may have

Graham , to answer your question . It will be the now familiar format .

Once the 109 thread starts , we can see how many people want one and go from there . One thing I can say ,

it will be a one off batch , as based on previous experience , there are not enough wannabe 109 builders in the world to start stocking them .

Right guys... and I know there are a lot who have been reading this thread..this is going to be again an opportunity to aquire another of Richards designs before he' slips out the back door' I wish I had a stockpile of kits from when he held stock..... The 110 is my second only build and I feel cheated that as I am just begining to enjoy the building side of our hobby It might just end up disappearing. If not enough step up and shout then we won't even see a small run... please don't miss this chance.

Tried everything...... hard drive is dead, new laptop arriving tomorrow.

I do back everything up on a 1TB portable HD in a caddy, but there is always something you miss, isn't there ??

Going to clear the benches for the 109 in the next Day or two, and get the brown paper ready. cool

Stand by yer Beds..............The Germans are coming !!!
