Hi All.

Just acquired a plan for this model, Can anyone tell me if it will perform ok if I omit the flaps,

I shouldn't think it would make too much difference Douglas. Peter himself does frequent the forum, so maybe he'll be along soon.......

I expect Percy is right. But why build it without flaps when the article says " flaps enable it to be slowed right down.... at half flap ...she'd just creep along into a gentle breeze..." It seems the flaps would be part of the models character.

To be perfectly honest I would not bother with the flaps. They do work but not worth the effort.

In fact I have come to the conclusion that I don't really like flaps on any model.
