Right, for a bit of fun we thought it might be nice to feature one of your models on our Facebook cover spot, so we’re throwing it open for you to send us a maximum of two images that depict your favourite model in the air. Post on this thread but do bear in mind that we’re after flying shots only please. In the next week or so well pick a winner and contact its owner for a high resolution version of the image. Heck, if you're really good we may even publish the winning entry in the mag. Get posting web-folk, we can't wait to see what you come up with.

Ultymate sir, it can be a photo of anyone's model, as long as the entrant actually pressed the shutter button

one will have to be a good flyer/photographer to take a snap of ones own model in flight, unless it is permitted for some one else to fly your plane for you

I took this one way back before my hair had gone grey back in 35Mhz day, I had my camera set up on a tripod behind me. It was really difficult standing on the wing flying the model and working the remote shutter release as well

Aye John, these things are never easy however, clever and massively skilful as old Ultymate is at standing on his wing while flying (I reckon he must have had some lead on the starboard tip, by the way), the image is in the wrong format for a Facebook cover! I can predict, even now, that a landscape image will win. Hee hee.

Yes, I think what the OP (Old Pilot) has said indicates that the pic should be of your model or a pic that you took and yes, it needs to be in "skinny" landscape format to a ratio of about 1:2.5, like so.
