Nigel, never tried a sound system, but it sounds great (no pun intended ), when you get it up and running could you give us an intro into how you do it, it would be much appreciated by someone like me who has just dabbled with the dark side

cheers

Peter

... No idea at all what "F/G" could mean, Richard... angel

... but just following the majority and thus able to state "F/G" as well... I'll keep my 'revolutionary & rebel' ideas for another occasion. yes

Cheers

Chris

Chris , you werent on the list on page six , did I miss something ?

Of course Peter, this is my first venture too, I always thought they were a bit toyish but after hearing a few I am sold on them, I think the start up and ground running is still a bit lacking or at least a little difficult to be too believable which I think is the most difficult thing to replicate but in the air they are actually quite good and at least makes it seem authentic I have the MrRCSound units, the V 4.1 for the BF110 and the Aspire for the 109 they are on the upper end of the systems price wise but I do have an HK one and it does make great Farty noises!

I would have put them together before now and done a piece on them had it not been for the medication I am on, I have trouble concentrating with these painkillers so although simple and straight forward to put together I did not want to fry anything until I at least can remain awake!🤣😜

Hi Guys n plumbers..

Well not a lot been going on as been busy modifying bits for a mate.

Anyway did a little to the flap servo installation.

You could quite easily hot glue him in... but ... you know I love to tinker soo I made it removable but well fixed in place. the pictures tell it a lot better than me spending ages typing..

I got these beauties in the post today.....

The quality is top notch, thanks Glynn, the picture shows them in their protective covering and backing to hold them in place for application.

They are vinyl and hard wearing. Glynn kindly did me a special set for my Spitfire and the finish is great.

You’re making good progress on the 109 Paul. It looks a lot less work than the 110. I am enjoying your build thread and I guess that you will the fountain of knowledge on the WR 109. What a responsibility 🤗 👏

I haven’t heard anything more about the other 109’s fledging their Essex nest. I guess that it won’t be long now.

My 110 has ground to a halt as its awaiting a paint job. It’s A bit cold to spray outside at the moment.

Thanks Graham.
You will like the build when you get it. Too true about the weather. I have the same issue with my 110. I got the base colour on but will have to wait for the camo coats.
The 109 is going to be a cracking good model.

I know all the chaps on the list of old , grand lads to the man .

It might be worth pinging me a Pm saying roughly what you want . The prices are broadly similar to our Spit but I dont Think its fair to the Forum management to start quoting numbers.

Equally if I put them on the website , I dont want some "Johnny come lately" , trying to steal a kit from one of my lads.

Best for everyone to send a PM saying full name and address , plus phone , and roughly what you want so we can be at least in the ball park .

We are thinking kit /retracts/ props /spinners/decals /pilots

Richard

I'm not too sure but it sounds important..... you know the thing that is always missing from the box of bits... the one thing you need the most.

Perhaps it’s something to shout abuse at when when one makes a mistake during the build. (Not that you will need it). laugh

Don't what ever you do shout abuses at a Richard... it'll make your oleo's swivel, spares disappear and glue go hard...!

Don't forget lad's if you have a specific insignia in mind for your model send me a picture and we will see what we can do. info@warbirdreplicas.co.uk

Never shout at Richard, his two little helpers are still having therapy on Wednesday's from the last time he "Stared" at them. Remember he is a Wizard.

A "Richard " is available, but at great expense . It consists of a small plasticine man like Tony Harts "Morph".

He stays in the box with the 109 and builds it from inside . A bit like a hanger . You feed him chocolate biscuits and try not to upset him .

Ive only ever sent one out ,but the recipient couldn't keep pace with the biscuit demand and it turned very nasty .

Apparently it was a bit like the scene when Marty Feldman use to take a large wicker basket to the vets , Which nobody would put their hand in . The only things that came out , were shredded

R ( the larger)
