Some good tools on offer at Lidl this weekend if you happen to live near a store that has the range. Parkside 12V Cordless Multi-Grinder and Accessories Set, Separate accessories set, mains soldering station, cordless soldering iron (for the field box?) Look here

All I need is a nose hair trimmer, but they don't seem to have one, so will stay home.

Going for the mains soldering iron £9. Had one for 3 years and tips are knackered. For the price might as well buy new rather than search for a tip that might fit. Will manage XT60s easily. Colin

I. Bought one of the rechargeable multi tools from Lidl a few years ago. Absolutely brilliant. The tool and battery are lasting well. Tools hold well in the chuck

Maybe I should. It another both as a spare and to save changing the tools

Leaving Lidl for a moment, I noticed that Aldi are selling exercise weights, ball shaped lump with a handle, weighing from 2 Kilo to 12 Kilo.

I picked up a 12 Kilo one which seemed rather heavy for pensioner me. It occurred to me that if dropped on ones foot it could result in a messy visit to A&E.

Just think, there are model planes around at this weight and more. cool

They sell cigarette lighters. Quick flame, job done. Don't breath in.

Rob, Maybe one of those battery powered multi tools would do the nose hair and any others that need trimming while your at it !

Their male model looks a bit hairy, so I'll bet he uses one!

Gentlemen, have you ever heard a lady scream when doing waxing operations. It is a source of PTSD in gentlemen. Dremels are not exfoliating tools.

I think you're right Barry. The lidl model needs to use some of their own brand...😀
