Hi all . I am looking for a back[plate and inlet manifold and exhaust stub/adaptor for an OS 120 FS Surpass Mk2.. Back-plate has a short carb mounting on the left hand side of the back-plate unlike the later /current model with a longer stalk on the mounting . I have tried a few wanted adds in classifieds but no success so thought I'd ask here ?

If you can help please PM me .

If asking on forum is not allowable in the forum rules then moderators please delete.

Regards

Would the backplate from an ASP 180 work? if i remember rightly they are the same size crankcase and it has a very small carb mount block. Could be worth investigating. I have an ASP 180 kicking about at work somewhere, i can get some photos of it if you like.

Mk II was the metal pump version. I have a complete engine sitting doing nothing but I have no intention of breaking it for spares, sorry ED

I'd appreciate that John if you get a chance. I have looked on Ripmax site for spares and they are very limited for these older engines. It's slightly as this engine ,apart from the broken or missing bits is in excellent condition . I'll leave it for a while and if no bits turn up I'll break it for spares, keeping others running.

Yes it would be the Same Mk as the metal pump version, silver rocker cover. Great engines and IMHO better quality than the latest offering.

I've been looking for a replacement pump unit (metal not plastic) for an OS 120 MkII engine. If anyone has one I'd be pleased to hear about it.

Thanks Chandrayan have looked on all websites I can find and the only 120 in ASP,SC are the same as the Mk 3 OS 120 and will not fit.

Mods. I have put pictures of backnplate on my album but can't see them on list when wanting to put in a post. All older pics are fine but latest of back plate don't show . Any ideas ?

Maybe someone handy with design can do it and then print the backplate?

Thank for all help band suggestion. Thanks to a friend James who found an old broken pumped OS 120 who had a inlet manifold and a carb that fitted it I then purchased a SC back plate that fits perfectly so all good.

I am still looking for the steel exhaust stub that screws into the head so if anyone has one please pm me.

Regards

E.D.
