Purchased at a very reasonable £58.Very impressed with the first impressions.Like the look of the model and it looks well made.So far liking the way its going together, all so far straight forward. The instruction book is OK plenty of photographs.Havent found any problems with the wood used. The hardware appears good quality and well designed.Ive so far fitted the aileron servos, the undercarriage,I did choose to use my own screws because I coulnt see any in the pack that looked right for the job.I fitted the fuel tank, which was very easy, and Ive fitted the engine.Im using a Thunder Tiger 46 2 st PRO.This was my Xmas present to myself.Tomorrow evening is fitting the servos, which are all standard.

The B.H. Super Air is darn good fun and it will put a smile on your face.

Take plenty of fuel to the field ---- you will need it.

I'm quite attracted to this as my next plane.  Where did you get it for £58?  Best price I've seen is £63.99!

Stephen... Its usually a baaaad idea to publish telephone numbers directly onto forums - I have removed it, but please feel free to PM Richard with the information...assuming of course that Neville is happy with that

Sorry Timbo and thankyou for correcting my error.Richard youll find the Blackhorse Super Air a Doddle after your Chipmunk.Tonight Ive fitted the elevator Servo, which went straight in,the wings have been epoxied together, the stabilizer has been fitted, and the fin and rudder also epoxied into place. Its still all been very straight forward and a pleasure .Iwas out flying until 9,so I feel Ive achieved a lot this evening

After a good evenings flying ,ive fitted all the control, and apart  fromfitting the receiver and battery I cant see much more to do.I am surprised at how quickly and easily this model has progressed. So it looks like tomorrow will consist ofreceiver in,switching on adjusting as necessary, and perhaps take it to work Saturday and run the engine in.If Im not careful,Ill have it ready for flight Sunday

Heres hoping Im up to the task Shaun, this evening I finishedthe receiver installation wiyh the battery. Most of the servos were close and any adjustment easy.Ive fitted the switch outside just above the wing,im happier with it there.Have an issue with my transmitter may have to move to a different channel,so very little to do tomorrow.

Careful in the sun- the covering on mine has wrinkled in the heat in the car.

Thanks Andy,I noticed when I removed it from the car at work it had wrinkled a bit from last night.Very qiuet ar work apart from the sound of a Thunder Tiger 46 pro 2 st being run in..Started instantly and sounds a bit tasty.Sorted out my transmitter problem by changing to another place and rebinding.Every thing appears to be a go

Went  to the field this evening and an expert turned up at the same time as me.We checked the model over,he took off and tested it and gave ir a bigWe then adjusted the ailerons ,but after the Boomerang I had trouble with the take off.We changed Props to a bigger one he took off and I flew around .Im ecstatic.Just need to learn the art of a taildragger take off.

Well done mate. You'll be very happy together. There's no mystery to a tail dragger take off, just don't rush it.

Thanks Shaun, more practise in the air today, trying to get the feel of it.So much more responsive and have to be so gentle.Still trimming out at the moment, not ready to take off yet.Silly really Ive to tail draggers no problems with them, just getting my confidence to let it go.Better to be safe than sorry.
