HELP HELP HELP.......
can anyone help me ,ive cracked my grp cowl on my blackhorse chipmunk  on landing it nosed over on landing  l rang hobbystores for one  ive got to wait 6 to 8 weeks  i cannot repair it as its fuel ingressed  i wondered if anyone knew where i can get one sooner......cheers mark

It's @ 1/6 scale isn't it? I wonder if a replacement  Airsail Chipmunk cowling from Carbon Copy would fit?  (I think they do one) If so, it would have the benefit of being more "scale" as well.
 
Have you tried flushing out the old one with alcohol or meths?  It may well clean up enough for a repair.

 mark better still, i have got one that you can, have. i chopped the tail end of the plane it had a argument with a extra mid air. the cowl has not been cut as i had a s.c 52 fitted with a in cowl silncer, give me your address, & i will post it to you. regards weasel.....
