340 forum posts 19 photos | PB models have taken on the Funfighter range of kits that were first introduced by Cambria in the 1980's. The range consists of a Focke-Wulf 190D, ME-109, Spitfire, Mustang and a new model to be brought into the range is the Kawasaki Ki-61 'Hien' (Tony). All models are for 25-36 size engines and construction is very basic being of balsa sheet fuselage and tail feathers with foam veneer wings, transparent moulded canopies are also included with the kits. Anyway, enough of the jibba jabba, mine arrived today. Ive gone for a P51 'tang and should be building over the next few weeks when I need a break from the 50cc Raven I'm assembling. As you will see from the pics it was all very, very well packed But I cant work out what them two bits are for? BB |

Just need the new roof on the workshop then its full steam ahead, ARTF on bench 1 this on bench 2. Im hoping some of the forum members will have built one over the pervious 30 years they have been in production and I can get some pics of colour schemes as im torn between a scale job, reno racer style or Pink! ![]() Can there be any modeller who doesn't put the bits together half
way through a build to see how it looks
.The fuselage planing & sanding stage is always very satisfying -
when an aeroplane shape emerges from a balsa box.
Must get on with that FF Spit. sometime. |
