Is a mode change possible by a Normal Person of will things need to be taken care of by a Professional? I've been offered one but its Mode 2 and I fly Mode 1. Thanks for any help.

Yeah it's not difficult mate jr only bring them in in mode 2 so if you are like me you have to change it manually, it's pretty easy to do but some delicate tools do come in handy

Ok, great, so I guess it's a standard throttle swap, what about the software side? Is there a mode select in the menus someplace?

I have the manual I downloaded from JR.com, can't find any mention of stick mode... looked through a few times now. Is this a European thing only? Does the UK manual mention it anywhere? Thanks.

Ahh... my email request came back confirming exactly what you said, great news!

Dear Sir

Yes this is something that you can do your self.

All you need to do is move the throttle ratchet and spring in the set and then you will find a stick mode menu which just needs to be set to mode 1.

5 minute job.

Regards

Hi Richard

Was very easy to do indeed, took about 5 minutes as stated by MacGregor! Follow the instructions and you won't go wrong. Remember that each model when setting up will need the stick mode changing.

Thanks for that, it should be arriving today by post. The gentleman I purchased it from was kind enough to have it done for me. Regards Richard
