Problem with Pocketmags. Not the first either.

The new issue showed up but it wants me to buy it. Tried logging in again. Success reported. Still wants money. My subscription doesn't run out till Feb 2018. Though I am never sure whether that means the February Issue (which comes out in January) or the issue which comes out in February (the March issue). I probably ask every year when I renew, but the n forget.

Similar problem here. Had to put my RCME order number in and reactivate pocketmags. After a few hours I was able to view Jan 2018 issue in the Pocketmags PC app.

I tried the option 'Iam an an existing subscriber etc.." and successfully logged in. It let me download a back issue, but still wants me to pay for the current issue. On iPad.

I can access the current digital issue from my laptop OK.

Checked my subscription expiry date 16-3-2018 but pocket mags wants me to pay for the latest one? Something is not quite right 😕 either my expiry date or their system I am not going to renew until I find out what correct, never had a reminder to say I am due for renewal thought I would have had one if it was due.😨

Hi Chris,

It could be worth checking the issue again today and/or refreshing your browser and clearing your caches. Sometimes everything gets a bit stuck and says you should be paying when you don't need to, clearing caches can sometimes work wonders! If you don't have any luck, PM me your subs number or address and I'll look into it further for you.

I used the 'report an issue' feature in the Pocketmags app, which sent an email to them. To my surprise, I got an email back within a couple of hours to say that they had 'added the issue to my account'.

Pleased that they fixed it so quickly, slightly worried by the terminology that the issue may recur with the next issue. Wonder if there is a wider problem? Change of year on the issue not matching subscription details in some way?

Hi, my current subscription runs out in a couple of months currently have paper and digital . I am finding that I am using the digital most of the time so thinking of going digital only. My question is that I realise I will no longer get the free plan but if I wanted a specific one would I have to try and get a back issue of the mag or are sarik going to be able to supply.

Hi Paul,

If you did go digital only and wanted a specific plan, all back issues which include the plan can be purchased separately through www.mags-uk.com. Only certain plans will be going over to Sarik, so your safest bet is to buy the back issue and then you will also have the article.

Hi

Just had an email to say that the latest issue is available in pocket mags. When I went to view it states my subscription has expired. This was the same as last month!! Then I just logged out and back in and all was good. This time it's not working. What's going on have never had a problem before last month.

One very frustrated subscriber.

Peter, I have the same problem again. Last month I even called pocketmags to check, nice lady confirmed my subscription was ok and suggested I wait a couple of days to see if it fixes itself . The info she had was that the issue was not due for release at that time 😨 3 days later all worked ok. Something has changed somewhere but I have no idea what nor does the nice young lady at pocketmags.

Me too, same problem as last month. My Account on Pocketmags.com says my subscription is "NOT ACTIVE"

Pocketmags app on Windows shows Jan 2018 issue as latest, does nothing for a while then crashes.

Re-activated my account again as I did last time. It all appears to be working correctly now.

Just a matter of finding your order number and going to the Activate Subscription tab on Pocketmags.com.

Thanks Backinblack 👍 found my 10 digit code in my settings and used it to reactivate my account in pocketmags it works a snip. Hope I can remember what to do next month 😂

I also could not access the Feb 2018 issue on my iPad although I could on this website. Followed the advice above and did a reactivate of my subscription using the 10 digit number from my settings and all seems well. I now my subscription ends in March, so not sure which issue it really ends with (but I should have gotten the Feb.). Will have to check into renewing soon (haven't gotten the email yet).

I don't think it has anything to do with subscription expiry, mine is not due for renewal until October.
