2859 forum posts 114 photos | Something seems to be IP based, as it 'forgets' you if you log in on different PCs, eg at home and at work as per CodenameJohn's post - and Ken, it's nothing to do with the number of members as there are much larger site's than this that can cope with an ID on more than one machine. |

Moderator 9692 forum posts 1265 photos 729 articles | Looks ok Cooko. Had a good play and couldn't find a prob. Clicking on 'remember me' did the trick and I tried the TV vids and then back to homepage ok. Logged in and out several times and tried on Safari as well as Firefox. I've re-set your password and emailled it to you. |

| 221 forum posts | Hello All I've also had this problem with Windows 7 using IE9. However, I think I may have cured it, at least for myself, as follows:- 1) Go into Internet Explorer's Tools/Internet Options/Privacy. 2) Set the slider to Medium 3) Click on Sites 4) In the "address of website" box type http://www.modelflying.co.uk and then click on Always Allow. The address should the appear in the lower box under the "Domain" heading with Always Allow under the "Setting" heading. 5) Then go through the login procedure, if necessary, exiting the browser, completely, and then re-entering as outlined by David, above. I can't remember, but for the first time I may also have had to re-boot the computer for the changes to take effect. NOTE!!! It is then necessary to enter the site from the Home Page Address ie http://modelflying.co.uk and not, for instance, straight onto the "latest posts" page, as I used to do, so re-set your Favourites accordingly. It only takes 2 clicks to get from the Home Page to the "latest posts" page, so no big deal. This has worked for me for the last 2 days or so. So far so good. Ian

| Moderator 22 forum posts | Barry and Ken, which browser/Os combos are you using? I will look into it for you today. It has all worked for me since the new cookie law came into effect, but I will find out what's not working for the two of you. Cooko, I have a bit of a problem testing for you, as I don't have an iMac. I used to have one, and Remember Me didn't work at all, but if it has worked previously for you, we should be able to sort it. My email address is katy.purvis@myhobbystore.com, if you'd like to send me any more info, and I will find someone with a Mac so that I can test it. Katy |
