Hi everyone, just joined up to the forum after building a fun cub with a good friend of mine (thanks a million Tom)

Tom helped me with some modifications and has taught me to fly within a couple of weeks, flown copters in the past, but enjoying fixed wing even more, ive actually given my copter away.....

Look forward to starting a collection of planes, within the last month is have bought and flown a Super Cub and now ive moved onto a Fun Cub (lovely to fly)

Just about to buy a Cherub glider.

I bought a massive 3D stunt plane from the Weston Park Airshow last sunday (impulse buy) Ive been told i wont be able to fly it, as i need at least a year of practice with other smaller planes. I think its modeled on a Yak, its about 4 feet in length, lovely plane, i will post some images soon..

Welcome to the forum Kev.....centuries of experience on here so ask any questions you like....someone will know the answer.......thumbs up

I don't see why you couldn't fly your 3D plane......they are usually very docile models as long as the control throws are quite small......I have an Irvine Wildcard which can do some pretty wacky things on full rates but is as gentle as a trainer with the control thows turned down......my 8 year old flies it on a buddy box lead.....smile d

Don't encourage Kev to fly his new plane just yet lol smile o its a big heavy Extra or similar with a very high wing loading /stalling speed and six cell driving a dirty great AXI ....Looks nice though thumbs up.

Kev

Thats what happens when a newbie is let lose at the big shows lol blush . If Kev had come back with 3D as we know them he could have had a go quite soon as you sugest its easy to set the light ones up in trainer mode .thumbs up .
