| 54 forum posts 15 photos | I love my Alula, but it's getting time for it to retire to the slope. I have done *loads* of research on various DLGs, and I think finally it's time to bite the bullet and pay the £ for an entry level sportster - or at least up to about £200 of them! I'd like a DLG with the same versitility as the Alula - which could be flown just about anywhere light wind slope to thermal. I'm tempted by a micro DLG for this reason, but if I can I'd prefer a full size 1.5 as the Alula was too small to thermal well (I always lost sight of the little $%£*!) I am taken by the Super TopSky 2 but is the Disser worth paying the extra £30 for? I'm not after bling, but a good sound sportster. I'm also taken by the Binary 900 and Elf - but worry that the Elf will have too narrow a flight envelope. I don need something that can cope with occasional 10-15mph blows as I live on the side of a hill. Can anyone offer advice? Cheers QX Edited By James Y on 21/07/2012 14:40:32 |

| 54 forum posts 15 photos | Thanks missed this subforum! Yeah I've been impressed with the reviews - I'm wondering if the disser weave is worth the extra and actually makes a difference. The downside being if I buy the disser I'll spend more and have a very nice faraday cage around my RX unless I want to drill a few holes in the pod... Also the trilerons make me wonder if it's "all hat and no cattle" - I'm KISS by nature when it comes to these things after long experience with experiments of my own!
