Im 59, (born 1948). Started in late 60s with single channel.Progressed through reeds to propo on 27meg, 35meg and now 2.4gig.One of the original founder members of the Horsham and District Radio Controlled Model Club (west Sussex)in 1968.Tried electric cars but couldnt steer coming towards me so gave up.(no problem steering with planes strangely.Tried boats but not my thing.Had a break in 80s to concentrate on tenpin bowling. returned to flying to master helicopters, still trying but making progress. Mainly a sport power flyer but just started with electrics. prefer pop and bang really by choice.
