More about me:

I am currently flying only electric sport aircraft and have just knocked dow my fleet to one Sebart plane and a 48" Vanquish as well as a home built Flybaby which was converted from an IC powered plan. I am presently building a Phil Kraft Slik-Fli and just ready to start on a Bar-Fli - Yep both retro models from the late 60's when model aircraft were built by the modelers and a competition was down to skill because we all had the opportunity to be able to afford a similar plane. Today's F3A competitions, it is argued can be flown by lesser aircraft but what is the point in competing only to know that once above intermediate you would have to fork out huge sums of money to remain competitive.
I really am pleased to see a revival of models built by the modellers, its good for the trade too!
