I have been making models since i was a teenager . I was fortunate to live in a cottage which was in the middle of a large park which allowed  me to get out at a moments notice .

Which was great for test flying all kinds of models . One of the best places in the park was called angels hill , it is more like angels forest now as the park has been neglected and trees planted , so they no longer need to do all that mowing , paths just allowed to vanish or if they where lucky covered in forest bark , it really is quiet sad too see it gone to ruin.

 

It was a really good place to fly models .

 

This is where i first started making my own designs , as wood and tissue was all i could afford in the early days .

So i could build and fly what ever i fancied . 

I started with free flight then moved onto control line then onto Rc models taking a break from it all when family and financial commitments got in the way of it all .

I returned to the  hobby in 2007 after a break of about five years .

 

I am also a Member of the Bury Metro Model Flying Club

and still enjoy building small model planes
