More about me:

Living full time in the Vallee du Lot in the Lot Department (46) in France and having retired am going back to my teenage and learning to fly R/C. If there are any others out there in the area I would appreciate contact.

Ex ATC - 5(f) Squadron.  Soloed in T31s at 16 yrs of age and just have never lost the love of flying and all things that fly except wasps and hornets

Have a JAR-PPL and used to own a share in a Pierre Robin DR315 Petit Prince from Sywell near my home town of Northampton UK

Joined Lalbenque and Cahors Model Club and fly from a 90 metre hard (and unforgiving!) strip surrounded by scrub and stones!

Regularly meet and fly with fellow forumites Pete B, Richard Hansford, David Brohn and John Maitland Hudson at Pete's house, my house or at my club or Richard' club up north in the Dordogne.

Still mainly electric but a growing interest in IC and there seem to be more and more of those darned things finding there way into my workshop - it's not my fault but they are more like surrogate pets I think.  You have to care for them, feed them, clean up after them and in return they give warmth and a cosy fuggy atmosphere.

Over 60 now and a few years ago I did a paragliding course in the Alps - brilliant!
