More about me:

Been flying models of one sort or another since I was a small child. Learn't how to fly RC when I was in the RAF stationed with the Harriers in Gutersloh, Germany.

Took a very long break when I got married and family came along then came back to it in 2010, flying glow powered for about a year, then I discovered slope soaring and have been completely converted and am totally addicted.

I do my flying around the S Wales area, just north of Cardiff on Meio Common, Eglwsilan Common and the famous Bwlch mountain, which is about a 50 minute drive for me up the Rhondda Valley.

So if anyone from S Wales fancies a go at slope soaring, or you're visiting the area, give me a shout and I'll be happy to act as your guide.

There is also a blog for the 4 of us who regularly fly in the area, take a look at a470soaring.blogspot.com or follow the link HERE
