More about me:

Hi my name is Stuart, I got into flying free flight gliders at age 12 (The Keil Kraft Caprice was a favorite), progressed onto RC gliders at age 14/15 and have owned the Flair Sunrise, Gentle Lady, A 2 metre Algebra glider, among others.

Used to fly up at Rise Park on the old Top Valley school field and also on Gaunts Hill (Top of Bestwood Country Park) great views.

I mainly enjoyed flying radio controlled thermal soarers launched from a bungee up until I was introduced to electric flight in 2006/7. I got my Gentle Lady glider electrified courtesy of my friend Tom Wright. Since then I have built a Slingsby Skylark, Caprice (electrified) for nostalgia, a Hobbyzone super cub, a super Reiti, DG1000, 3.7 metre Bubble Dancer, A Hobbyking Canary, a 2.5 metre scale Nimbus 4, a para motor.

I am an electric convert now and can fly on more days than I used to and get lift higher up. I have also got into attaching video cameras to my model plane

I enjoy flying off Mam Tor in the Peak District! and have lots of video's on you tube.

I am also into the natural world, especially bird watching and all things to do with nature and photographing nature. Ollerton in Nottinghamshire has lots of wildlife and is a great place to study nature and to fly too!
