More about me:

I am ‘68 years young' and live in Doncaster UK. I first started aero modelling when I was 12 years old. My first bout of modelling then finished after I joined the Royal Air Force (1961) and was posted to Cyprus in the late 60s. After a full career (Aircraft Technician/Engineer), I retired from the RAF in 2000. On retirement, and not being able to work anymore (heart problem) I took up aeromodelling again starting off with a little sport control-line flying and at the same time learning to fly radio control. my other interest is Formula 1 motor racing.

I belong to the Don Valley Model Flying Club, of which he became a member about 12 years ago and later I joined The Retford Model Flying Club.

I have 8 radio models, ranging from my last trainer, 4 scale, 2 vintage and 1 aerobatic classic. The trainer was ATF, 1 scale ARTF, and three made from kits. The 2 vintage were plan built from down-loaded a web page. I have 4 scale kits ranging from a 1956 to 1980, for engines from a 19 2stroke to a 90 4stroke. Plus plans for a few vintage. As you might have guessed, I enjoy building a little more than flying
