Details are starting to appear in relation to Futaba's new transmitter, the 14SG.

Although a firm release date is awaited, it looks to be a higher-end unit sporting 14 channels - 12 of which will be proportional.

To quote a spokesperson from Futaba's US distributor "it's not the same as the 8FG, the feel is very solid, switch spacing is wider (like the 18MZ) with rubber grips on the sides and back".

Importantly the 14SG will support FASST, FASSTest, and S-FHSS - in other words all the 2.4GHz systems Futaba offer.

It'll also offer telemetry then with vibration alerts and a similar programming rationale to the 8FG Super. The SensorTouch programming dial has been improved too.

More news on the UK release date when we have it - full details are promised soon at www.futaba-rc.com
