We're working on our May issue as I speak and the free plan feature will be an exciting Cold War dogfight special from the drawing board of Tony Nijhuis!
Tony's new Mig-25 Foxbat and English Electric Lightning pusher prop-jet plans will both be included in the May issue with the accompanying two-part building and flying articles in the May and June issues. Both models have flown and Tony reports that the Lightning in particular is very, very fast which seems appropriate when one considers the performance of the full size aircraft!
Tony built and discarded a prototype of the Lightning model during the development stages simply because he felt the fuselage was a little too wide. He has very kindly donated the model to the winner of a prize draw here at modelflying.co.uk, so in the normal way, just leave a post on the forum thread at the bottom of this article and we'll pop your name in the hat.

The winner will be the first name drawn on Friday 18th April - the lucky person will receive a Lightning in the post shortly after!
I should just add that the model we're giving away is completely built and is now ready to cover, it also requires a power-train and R/C gear. The winner will need to find their own power package and radio gear although that shouldn't be a hardship as the model itself was been beautifully built by Tony - she's just itching to fly!
