Nuremburg Extra Pt.2

A final round-up of new products from the recent trade show

Our full report from Nuremburg is in our April 2008 issue (on sale now) but just to whet you appetite here's our second supplementary photo report from the vast trade show in Germany. Nuremburg is where the industry meets to showcase new releases for the forthcoming 12 months, every major player is there so sit back and enjoy - you'll find a link to part.1 below.

Don't forget to check out our video from the show in the RCM&E video section. Click here to go straight there.

The new Graupner B-25 looks suspiciously like the new offering from Black Horse, never mind, it's an impressive model.

A superb Waco bipe in ARTF form from SIG. Whether we'll see them in the UK has to be uncertain however.

New Power Modelisme (NPM) had some very impressive little models not least this Concorde twin pusher-prop.

The sweet little Mustang, part of the NPM mini series also caught our eye, 660mm 'ish span.

Again and from the NPM mini series, this Jaguar is a very attractive little electric racer/aerobat.

Going off-topic for a moment - paper modelling fascinates me and the sheer amount of patience that's gone into this Constellation is just mind boggling!

Er....small is the word you'd use to describe the new and appropriately titled Micro PicooZ

The new EasyCub from Multiplex is a 1400mm span electric, three-channel trainer. Multiplex told us that enabling the ailerons made no difference to flight performance over the standard rudder/elevator configuration.

One of my favourites from the show - this new E-flite Sea Fury joins the Lightning and P-47 in their warbird range. This 935mm span model is fitted with retracts too!

A new electric Piper Pawnee from E-flite makes an attractive alternative , the 62" span model is for their Park 15 motor, 3s Li-Pos and 40amp ESCs.

The respected Jeti Spin range of ESCs will now be available in OPTO versions - great for models where a separate receiver battery pack is required.

A new Decathlon, from Black Horse this time. The 65" span model is for .40-46 two-stroke i.c. or electric power.

That's it for this round-up but please leave your thoughts on the Nuremburg releases in the forum, what do YOU think? Too much electric? Does anything excite you?
