Nuremburg is where the industry meets to showcase new releases for the forthcoming 12 months, every major player is there so sit back and enjoy – parts 2 and 3 will follow over the next week or so.

Two of the four new SebArt models via for space. They both look georgeous
This new 1580mm span Harvard from Graupner is similar to their previous offerings only now it’s for electric power.
The underated ‘Terry’ electric trainer/sport model from Graupner has been upgraded and will now be in Elapor foam, a good move that should improve the appeal of this excellent model
The little 650mm span Mini Discus 2C is now an Elapor foam job too
With a mid-fuselage variable-pitch prop and clearly aimed at 4D hooligans, I nevertheless quite liked Graupner’s new 1000mm span IDX 248 depron foamie aerobat.
Graupner love their BAe Hawks and this new 1365mm span foamie EDF example joins the fleet and for which you’ll need a 90mm fan.
Big is the word you’d use to describe the new Graupner Kadet 2400, the span is 2400mm of course and she’s for electric power.
I think Graupner chargers are some of the best so this new Ultramat 17 caught my eye, it just oozes quality
This sleek little EDF glider type model was on the Sig/Kavan stand which means it’s UK debut may be some time in coming given the modest retail representation these companies have over here
The show hosts like to liven up proceedings for their visitors now and then!
Kyosho were showcasing this curious bipe’ It doesn’t do anything for me I have to say though!
Benoit Paysant-Le Roux, A hugely talented designer and flyer and a genuinely nice guy with some of his new designs for New Power Modelisme. The french firm have some attractive new models on the way and for me, UK importer Horizon Hobby can’t bring them in soon enough!
Speaking of which, this new 1.4m span Edge 540 is Benoit’s latest model and should be in the UK this month. It’s designed for .56 two-stroke too!
The Seagull electric range from J.Perkins continues to grow and this new PC-9 is one of the new ‘larger’ models in the 60″ span category – it looks much better than the smaller PC-9 EP introduced last year
I couldn’t resist this small paper model in another hall, the building time taken must be immense. Very impressive, even if it doesn’t fly
