GOOD KIT BUT NOT FOR BEGINNERS
Strengths: The plane has a solid build. Full size plans. Good flight characteristics at the right speed. Decent hardware included.
Weaknesses: Has a High Wing Loading. Website says IC size 10/15 plans say 15/25. Very underpowered with AP15's No Steerable Nose wheel included only Fixed. No instructions only the plan.
Overall: I have faith in the plane overall I believe with the correct power setup it would fly well (I'd go for 2x 25's). The kit is generally fairly good with decent wood, well made foam core wings and hardware. I built mine using only the plans, which is ok for me but if this is your first build then this might not be so easy as there are no instructions in the kit. My plane just about flys with the two AP15's very difficult to takeoff but once up to speed in the air it handles well. I'd recommend 2x25's if you want decent performance and at least basic aerobatics. I would also recommend not using the throttle linkage push rods, I used two 9g servos with a Y lead and I'm glad I did.
