For Sale: FLAIR Fokker D7 kit - NOW SOLD

Date added: 23/09/2018 18:40:02

  • Category: Unbuilt Kits
  • Brand: Flair
  • Price: £85.00

This an unbuilt and boxed FLAIR Fokker D VII kit. It appears to have been used to create copy parts by a previous owner, so all die-cut parts have been carefully separated. I have carefully checked through ALL the components against the complete parts list and nearly all is there (including all 5 plans) APART from these items - 1) the pre-formed u/c and cabane wires (correct straight wire is included though) 2) moulded plastic engine block (fairly easy to create from wood) 3) 2 moulded plastic engine side panels (fairly easy to create from wood) 4) fuel tank (easy to obtain) The original preformed plastic engine cowl is INCLUDED. NOTE - Also included is a brand new unused pair of the correct 1/6 scale size FLAIR vintage wheels (worth around 25 alone) - note that the extra pair of old used wheels shown in photo are NOT included as I couldn't get them in the box! ALSO included is the original building and flying review article from RCM&E magazine June 1994. OK so not quite pristine but you get a 99% FLAIR kit and it's cheap! Price includes HERMES courier delivery to UK mainland addresses. Contact me for more detailed photos which I can email. NOW SOLD

Q: Which part of building a new traditional balsa aeroplane do you enjoy the most?

 Research & choosing the model
 Building the fuselage
Installing the engine and radio systems
 Building the flying surfaces
 Covering/painting/finishing
 All of it!
None of it. I'd rather someone else did it!
