The BMFA Northern Area are organising a 2-day ‘Flight Fest Fly-in’ event this year, to forge better links between the Northern BMFA clubs and to try and encourage people to fly legally & take up the hobby. The event is open to both BMFA members and members of the public to come along and see what we can offer and have a fly. Kindly hosted by: PANDAS @ PONTEFRACT RACECOURSE.
The event will include: Fixed wing trial flights on the buddy lead BMFA flight simulator helicopters, multi rotors and control line flying. Swapmeet on Sunday morning 8.30am start (bring your own table). 10am start Saturday. No pre-entry required, just turn up & fly. (BMFA ‘A’ certificate required to fly solo). There will be a few ‘Fun-Fly Events’ over the weekend. A BBQ will be available during the day, plus tea/coffee all day. Ample toilets on site.
