  1. Has anyone built the Effpeevee from the 2010 RCM&E plan. I fancy something just a little bit different from the usual flying wings etc.
  2. I set up the S6R on model slot 29 and bound it. Looking at the model setup it allocated the receiver number to the empty model slot 11. Out of curiosity I created a new model on model slot 11 and bound an X8R to it. It also gave the slot to receiver number 11. I then loaded the model created on model 29 and it operated the model on number 11 and vice versa. Confused?...So am I
  3. Thanks Mike, The transmitter is dated July 2015 and the rf board looks likes this.   Edited By Alex Calderhead on 01/08/2017 20:38:52 Edited By Alex Calderhead on 01/08/2017 20:55:35
  4. I have 3 S6R receivers and I have the same binding problem with all three. I am using a Taranis Plus updated with the latest firmware Ver 170317 and the S6R receivers upated to the latest stable version 170217 (NON EU) Companion Ver 2.2 and Open TX 2.2.0 Create a model on an empty slot. On some slots the receiver will refuse to bind but editing the model and manually changing the receiver number to the one lower than allocated when creating the model it will now bind. For example I created new model on slot 15, model was then given a receiver number of 15 matching the model number. The receiver does not bind. Manually changing the receiver number to 14 allows the receiver to bind. The OpenTX team say it is not an OpenTX problem, so I contacted Frsky but no reply to date. Has anyone else experienced this behaviour?
  5. Thanks for sending the information. Did the model you flew have the flaps fitted on the bottom wing? My experience with my Jabberwock was that it was so draggy flaps were certainly not needed, and it flew with a 40cc petrol!
  6. I was intending to use a Laser .70 I have unused but looking at it I am not so sure now.
  7. Thanks Martin, I have sent you my email address. Here is what I have: Already it does seem quite heavy but we shall see!
  8. I have been given a Murataka Beech Staggerwing partly built, would anyone have a copy of the build instructions?
  9. During the build I increased the rudder area by about 50%. It still has to be 'coaxed' in a right hand turn but turns left just fine. Strange model indeed. At the single channel event at Pontefract last year both Glynn and I had built the Apprentice and both models had the same problem. Glynn fitted his with a 'pitch trimming device', an elevator to you and I
  10. I built this Apprentice last year and like you I could not get it to fly properly. As I had glued the tailplane on like yours I had no option but to increase the wing incidence by adding a tapered seat to the fuselage. 1/8" at the leading edge. Now flies fine. A better solution would be to remove the tailplane and adjust the incidence this way.
