  1. Very sorry to be rather negative. I understand things have to progress and the old site has been put to bed for sound technical reasons. I just can't make head nor tail of what's going on, seems the screen is populated with rather too much dead white space and I'm not sure I want to see who has replied to who and who has changed their Avatar. Can't complain as it's a free service but the effort V reward just doesn't add up for me. I'm no stick in the mud as I embrace change but this one's not for me. Oh well..☹️
  2. Just finished new year project. It's a Takom 1/35 Panther A late production.
  3. Steve. Good things come to those that wait. Can you describe what "gatoring" is. I've had a quick look at my wings and they seem fine.
  4. Steve, I understand the RR version has been harder to get than the kit and I suspect it's been very hard for Perkins to gauge the demand in the UK at this time for new products. I'm always impressed by the Multiplex kit offerings, the level of thought, engineering, presentation and detail that they go into makes putting their models together a real joy.
  5. Don't know what other folks are fitting but I've just ordered some bits for mine. The MPX recommended Roxxy motor. A Frsky Neuron 60S ESC MPX 11X7 folding prop
  6. My daughter just rang to say mine has been delivered, asked her to hide it from my accountant till I get home. I've ordered the full MPX wiring loom set and the retractable wheel, in for a penny in for a pound. By the time I get the cable, MPX connecters and the faff off making them.. Life is too short. Would make a great review model for the mag, I bet David has been hovering over the buy button
  7. Curious if anybody that has or is getting one might be contemplating getting the retractable wheel.
  8. Not sure. Spec shows the spinner and drive but no prop, I imagine it's because of the two power options. Just ordered my Lentus kit so I'll see what it comes with. Can't wait. Edited By Devcon1 on 23/01/2021 13:39:54
  9. A bit of poetic licence but it was new at the time. But I can't remember the model even though I built it and flew it. I'd say the year was about 1974.
  10. Came across this on Dartmoor a couple of years ago. Managed to get very close to it.
