  1. Hello John,

I followed your S6 build with great interest, Have you flown it yet??  The photos of the finished article looked outstanding!

This post, copied below, has recently appeared on the LMA site and it made me think of you.  I have no knowledge of the original poster or whether you would be interested in supporting his venture but thought that I would pass the information along.

    regards

      Hello John,

Kind of you to reply.  I'm sure that the S6b will fly as well as it looks, I certainly hope so.

Flying off water is a lovely branch of model flying and one which I try to follow two or three times every year. Not for the last 18 months, but soon I hope.

You did so much work to develop your own S6b model you ought to offer a kit/semi kit or at least try one of the magazines and have them publish the plans to preserve your efforts for posterity.

Good Luck with the first flights, I look forward to the updates.

      regards

I may well offer my plans for my S6b, but I will only do that if it flies pretty well and I have ironed all the bugs and made any necessary mods. One of the beauties of CAD is that offering a kit is relatively very easy to do. I would indeed like other enthusiasts to benefit from my work.

As I hinted earlier, there is just a chance there will be a demand for a scaled up version (about half size).

I hope it flies well and the kit happens.  Anything which spans around 80 to 100 inch would be good.

I wish you well with the test flights
