Just purchased the above model and looking to convert to electric
Searched the web but found nothing to help
Pegasus pages has a small comment on a conversion but little help
I could see cutting the bulkhead for the wheel rods fixing and using the tank hatch as access but any other advise would be welcomed

Hi Toto I recently purchased an overlander 60 ESC via a model shop which failed to work from start
Calling overlander help desk they advised me to get it sent back to them due to a recent batch had some internal fault
New one works perfectly

I purchased a Radiomaster TX16 not that I need 16 channels
Getting my head around their wording ( weigh ) threw me but their logic is not easy to follow

No photos to show but had a successful day on a 4 Max conversion on a Wot4 ic/ep model to electric
Only the one test flight to get used to the throttle settings, level flight and nice smooth landings

I live within 6 miles of shop and used their services from Tamya rough rider around early 1980s onto 1/8th scale ic cars (mainly for fuel 25 %nitro )and finally rc aircraft over last 20 years
Well done Martin and his staff in such a good service for the modellers needing postal and other delivery companies

You might have to revert to long threaded bar back to bulkhead

I am Hitec user for lots of years and one of my units did something similar
Trying to remember something about a button cell that keeps the memory of the settings and Mike Ridley and his Worksop sorted it out

Having a change of direction and have the above engine to move on
Three years old smooth operation and good compression
Engine run dry and oiled up
£45 plus p&p or collect Leeds area

Well it turns out my Wot 4 is the ep/ic version
So took the plunge to go the 4 Max route package order arrived within 24 hrs great service
Slight mods to fit the motor mounts
Had To widen the ply box for the battery size and inside the fuselage no problems
Dry run of motor battery & prop ESC set up all okay
Finishing touches tomorrow with velcro straps and getting ESC in place
Mods to wire connectors to charge battery etc
Just waiting for a dry calm afternoon to test fly

Did you cut a hole in the former that the wheel wires bolt to to get the battery in
I can make out the undercarriage in the photo is different
