Well it turns out my Wot 4 is the ep/ic version So took the plunge to go the 4 Max route package order arrived within 24 hrs great service Slight mods to fit the motor mounts Had To widen the ply box for the battery size and inside the fuselage no problems Dry run of motor battery & prop ESC set up all okay Finishing touches tomorrow with velcro straps and getting ESC in place Mods to wire connectors to charge battery etc Just waiting for a dry calm afternoon to test fly -

I have Hitec equipment and find if I do not do a full shut down of the tx& Rx I do have problems Just switching from range check to full power on tx and then fly is problematic The model is unstable done this twice on different occasions so it's full power down

The better way is to cover the fin, elevator and rear of fuselage first Dry Fit the fin and elevator and lightly pencil round the finish after the line up measurements checked Now with sharp scalpel cut out the film inside the pencil marks so when rr fitted and glued in place with wood to wood Whoops to late

Good Morning Jon. Yes I removed all parts just to make sure of the main bearing was running smoothly and check for any wear on the back plate all good Did notice the liner was not polished chrome but all dark as if burnt but piston ran smoothly up and down

Bit of help please. Engine 4 years old and had regular runs but Sunday morning test run and it suddenly through the prop and spinner. Spent Monday stripping down for a full check as noticed exhaust oil with traces of black in it. Engine all good inside with a little carbon deposit on crank. So rebuilt and tried a test run again yesterday rechecked main and slow running jet settings as instructed started first time tick over okay went for throttle loud click and prop gone again. Have changed the engine for now so more investigation can take place. I have another os46 and no problems

If I remember correctly it was a shop originally in a small village Honley Holmfirth South side of Huddersfield Then went to on line only. Got my first Hitec Optic 6 on 35 Meg then bought a 2.4 module conversion -
