Model Technics Laser 5% (with Klotz Oil) (15%oil) glow fuel.

I have used half container of the blue coloured Laser 5% and it's absolutely spot on Easy start, smooth tick over, excellent power up to full throttle, hint of smoke, no oil Showing until stood after a long flight and smallest of drip Engines OS46 ax 2 and SC 40 two strokes -
Hi John Hitec write up does advise if using a lot of Digital servos to maybe power the receiver through the SPC port on separate supply. This port is for receiver only, servo power through separate battery supply Not sure if digitals are better on 6 Volts I am using 6 volts for analogues servos in all my Hitec gear (7 set ups )

I had a seagull plane and c of g was testing in that the c of g was set up from wingtip leading edges the wing was tapered from the fuselage -

Last week I took a model for a maiden flight having done all the set ups on the bench with low med high rates on ailerons of we go . Unfortunately some how my rate switch had been knocked into high set up and I did not do a final ground check before opening throttle Into the air we go and having to fight for control I got it round for a landing needless to say I did not make a smooth landing Only when taking my other plane up did I see the rate switch position Check check and triple check next time I am ready to open the throttle

Hello Again having checked in the Hanger i have found the Main Jet assembly but it is damaged The upper part of the main jet around the o ring seal has broken off and wedged up in side the adjustable part and I am unable to remove this

Hello Neil having had 4 Irvines the extension of the needle jet is the most common part to get damaged Bare with me till I get back in the hanger on Friday I may have a unit you are looking for ( all my engines were 46s)

I am lucky enough to live within 6 miles of the shop and have used their services since 1980 I started with 1/10th electric (Sand scorcher) then 1/8th ic cars ( 25%nitro and body shells ) then airplanes of all sorts with ic engines since 1990 Always got on well with all the staff over the years Long live the model shop

Hi Brendan having viewed your picture a few times it has a close resemblance to a modified Acro Wot The undercarriage held on with elastic bands, the top of fuselage without a canopy, and slight mod to rudder feature Just my thoughts -

Give Just Engines a ring on Monday they used to make loads of adaptors for their carbs to fit other engines -
Untill you really understand the America way with words you have to experiment the throttle cut set up You will see a little chart that you need to set to the negative side and throttle setting on movement allowed so complicated to explain in words

A picture of the handle would help is the threaded part of the handle removable to be able to put a longer threaded piece in and a nut on inside of door

Ball Joint control surface horns?

You could use the ball joint as shown by Early Birds option with a long M3 screw to catch the ball joint then the extended thread with nuts and washers each side of the rudder -
