The Flankers rear end has covers over it. Earlier in the day someone was photographing it from the back. Apparently, he was asked to stop, and they put the covers on. Don't know what was so secret back there.

Here are some photos of the German Eurofighter in special markings for their Asian deployment. Pitch Black is an air defence exercise held in Darwin every 2 years. It draws participants from around the world. An open day is held for the public to get up close to the aircraft.

Decals going on. Starting to look good.

I have completed and painted the sponsons. Still have to paint the pop out floats on the sides. The tailplane struts have been fitted but need to be adjusted.

2 days of lockdown. Time for some painting.

A long term project. A 1/8th scale Sikorsky HH-52A Seaguard constructed from wood. The mechanics are Raptor 90se modified to electric with a lowered tailboom and raised tailrotor. I have created moulds from all the wooden parts to allow a replacement to be built if I crash it.
