    Hi Ernie, try using a jewelers saw they have a very fine blade that doesn't snag and doesn't crush the tube. Got mine from Amazon and it came with a packet full of spare blades. Hope this helps, Paul

    In the current economic climate I wonder if the BMFA should consider giving members to option for digital copies of the BMFA news letter, save on paper and postage as the majority of the known univers has email these days . Just a thought, Paul

    I have been using Hobbyking film for a while now and never had a problem removing the backing, solarfilm was always a problem for me that and the price led me to hobbyking. When I had my first of many rolls of hobbyking film (solid colours only) I started using a disc cutter rather than scissors and I am wondering if this I why I have escaped the backing problem may be the disc helps separate the film as it cuts can't think of any other reason.     I did try Chrome as well but that was not working too well, although it was better than IE.

    I had problems with IE just didn't work well at all, changed to Edge and it's now working much better. Give it a try . Paul.

    I somehow managed to completely miss this thread , it's definatly going onto the 'to do' list. Going to have to wait until I complete Ballerina number 2 as I am running out of hangar room, wonder how I can squeeze a 4 stroke up front ?

    Remember the 29th is the earliest date and could well change if things do not go according to plan, fingers crossed everyone plays nice and nothing unforseen befalls us .

    Is the new number that we now have GBR-OP- format my permanent number or will it change every year ? Just thinking how permanent I need to add it to my models. ?

    Started using Edge and everything looks and works much better ? the only problem I have at the moment is that I can't update my avatar. Every photo I try to use I get the message that the file size is too big, don't think it's a problem with the forum but I just can't work out how to reduce the file size of a photo. Anyone point me in the right direction with this, I am using a tablet at the moment if that helps. Paul.

    I had a problem with the avatar because the file was too big , just working out how to reduce the file size of the photo might need to wait until I can get to my laptop .

    When I go to my profile I can't find how to see my photos ! I can see my posts but no photos, missing something but can't see what at the moment.

    Can't find any of my photos from the old site ? giving up for tonight have another go tomorrow ? somewhat disappointed ?

    My usual browser on my android tablet did not work at all well so I loged on using edge and that works fine up to yet ? what I can't find on the new site is how to get to the old copies of rcm&e can someone point me in the right direction ? Paul.
