Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately I dont think its what you suggested as the construction methods are different and mine is a V tail. The trailing edges also sweep back slightly on mine near the tips

I have aquired a glider with a damaged fusulage and no canopy which I'm hoping to repair. Its a v tail with a tip to tip wingspan of 2.24M. The fusulage is GF and the wings appear to be glass covered. Could anyone advise me what it is please and possibly tell me anything about it?

Many thanks. Good to know a phase 6 is out of the question. I had a good look at the Pzazz-E and it looked ideal but it also got me looking at other options and in the end decided upon a second hand max thrust lightening on ebay. The main reasons were: John opened my thinking about different models Being foam it is easier to repair it also worked out much cheaper It gets me flying straight away. ...but I look againat the Pzazz-E as a winter project   Thanks for your input. I live near the east coast which occasionally has the option to fly off the cliffs where we get a rare SE wind. Given this does not happen very often and there is no where to land (other than the sea or a beach with groins) at the bottom if the lift dies I wanted to explore doing an electric conversion. It could also allow me to fly it from a flat field.   I know I could buy a ready made plus 5 but I enjoy the building hence wanted to explore if this was an option. Is there space in either of the models to fit an electric conversion? Has anyone done it? Was it straight forwards? did it fly well?   Any guidance would be appreciated. The film covering on my ARTF model is lifting in places and won't stick with the use of an iron. I have tried some new film and that does not work either. the model uses glow fuel and there is some light contamination but nothing excessive. can anyone recommend how I can remix the covering? thanks

I have tried starting my engine after a 6 month layup and cannot get it to run. It was unexpectedly left and hence was not oiled after use. the glow plug is bright and it won't run even with priming.It does appear to have a notch you feeling at TDC. Can anyone help with advice?
