CAA Call for Input: Review of UK UAS Regulations Aug 2023
Bob Bertram replied to MattyB's topic in All Things Model Flying
It looks like another review came out yesterday from the CAA with input by the 10th January. Remote ID has reared its ugly head. I only had a quick read, lots of reading to digest. -
Thanks Ron, they arrived safely yesterday and tried them out in the evening just before flying. Worked really well, much quicker to use and safer too than the trusty screwdriver. I will distribute the other 9 pairs amongst clubmates. So cheap at a £1 a pair. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

The G-INFO website run by the CAA should give you the current owners name and address.

I have the wings of the Opus Speed 500 but cannot find anything about it on the web. It has just ailerons and screw on winglets. Does anyone out there have any info? TIA Bob

In the Hanky Panky Foamy Woamy thread Ron Gray used Gorilla Clear glue which I'm going to try.

I was given this glider recently with the rear fuselage in two halves and a bit of trailing edge missing. Afer repairs, I flew it for the first time last week and can't wait for the thermals to come around again as it doesn't seem to want to come down. It was built by a deceased club member who had quite a number of models that he designed himself, all of which flew reasonably well. It was taken on by another member who didn't get on with it and that is when the damage ocurred. Does anyone recognize it as a plan or kit built? It has a wingspan of 111.25" and weighs in at 3lb 6oz. TIA Bob
